With four events of the Staysure Tour season left, competition is heating up as the MCB Tour Championship nears. Here are five players to keep an eye on at the Paris Legends Championship.

Jean-François Remesy

Leading the French charge on home soil will be Jean-François Remesy, who won his first Staysure Tour title at the Swiss Seniors Open in July.

The Frenchman has recorded five top ten results, including a runner-up spot at the WINSTONgolf Senior Open a week after his victory, and a share of sixth place at the Farmfoods European Senior Masters last week. Can Remesy delight the home fans at La Boulie?

Philip Golding

Already a French winner on the over-50s circuit and an Open de France champion on the European Tour, Philip Golding has a strong affiliation with French events.

In his previous appearances at the Paris Legends Championship the Englishman finished second in 2016 and third 12 months ago. Can he complete the set with a win at Racing Club de France La Boulie?

Santiago Luna

Winner of the Farmfoods European Senior Masters last week, Santiago Luna goes in search of becoming the first back-to-back champion on the Staysure Tour.

It was Luna’s fourth victory on the over-50’s circuit and his second title in 12 months, and with four events to go he lies 14th in the Rankings. A victory at the Paris Legends Championship could see him leap into the top ten.

Magnus P Atlevi

Magnus P Atlevi was the maiden winner of the Paris Legends Championship in 2016 – his first win on the over-50’s circuit – and claimed his second Staysure Tour title at the European Tour Properties Senior Classic last month.

The Swede sits tenth on the Staysure Tour Order of Merit following five top ten results and will be aiming to clinch the Paris Legends Championship title once again.

Markus Brier

Since turning 50 years old in July and joining the Staysure Tour, Markus Brier has impressed throughout his debut season.

In eight events the Austrian has recorded five top 15 results, including a share of third and a tied second place finish in his last two starts. Brier is arguably the most in-form player on the Staysure Tour right now and will be aiming for his maiden over-50s title in France this week.
