Kisner clinches Match Play crown

Kevin Kisner claimed his maiden World Golf Championships title after beating Matt Kuchar in the final of the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play to banish the memory of last year's defeat.

21:58

It's over in Austin! One year after losing in the final against Bubba Watson, Kisner is the champion, beating Kuchar 3&2.

21:46

Kuchar is also struggling. He needed to hole a birdie putt from 12 feet at the 15th to halve, but he loses to go three down with three to play.

Over at the 16th Bjerregaard can only make par so concedes to Molinari, who wins 4&2.

21:29

Over at the 16th it's looking like a case of when, not if, in the Molinari vs Bjerregaard match. Both men fail to reach the par five in two, and will need to get up and down to make birdie. Bjerregaard is three down and needs to win the hole to keep the match alive.

21:29

That was a lovely try but Kuchar's 33 foot birdie putt pulls up just short. So Kisner will have a putt from 24 feet to win the hole...

But he also leaves that short, so the hole is halved in fours.

21:14

Oh no. Bjerregaard misses his close range birdie putt at the 14th to stay three holes behind Molinari.

Meanwhile, Kisner calmly knocks in his four foot putt on the 13th green to remain 2up.

21:07

Both of the finalists see their balls roll off the back of the 13th green. They have tricky chips to come.

21:02

Kisner means business.

His pitch from almost 80 yards gave him a six foot birdie putt. And after Kuchar missed his eagle effort, the leader rolled in to halve the hole and stay 2up.

21:00

Bjerregaard reduces his arrears to three holes in the consolation match with a par at the 13th.

20:57

Don't you just love match play golf?

Kuchar quickly puts the 11th behind him, launching a brilliant approach onto the 12th green to set up an eagle chance.

Kisner may be two clear but his lead is far from safe...

20:47

Kisner wins the 11th with a comfortable par to extend his advantage to two holes with seven left to play.

20:43

Molinari taps in his par putt to go 4up after 12 holes. He is closing in on that third place finish.

20:41

Oh dear. Kuchar's tee shot at the short 11th lands in the water next to the green. Kisner isn't on the putting surface but he definitely has the advantage at this hole.

20:39

Kuchar had a great chance to level his match against Kisner but his 13 foot putt just avoided the hole. Kisner tidies up with a par putt from three feet to stay 1 up.

20:35

Bjerregaard's second shot at the 12th goes straight into the water. He is at risk of going four down here.
