Was ranked fourth in the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR) and consistently remained inside the top ten until his professional debut. Won several prestigious events including the 2015 Jones Cup, 2014 AJGA FJ Invitational and the individual Juan Carlos Tailhade Cup. Earned European Tour status after making the cut at 2016 Qualifying School Final Stage and enjoyed a strong start to his Tour career with three top ten finishes, including a second place finish in the KLM Open. Finished inside the top 15 in his first Major Championship, the Open Championship at Royal Birkdale, which helped secure his European Tour status for 2018. Is a dual-citizen, splitting time between Nova Scotia and Texas, where he works with swing coach and 2015 PGA of America Teacher of the Year, Cameron McCormick. Represented the USA in The 2014 Junior Ryder Cup, before he switched nationality to Canadian.
