Won twice in France on the Challenge Tour in 2010 to rubber-stamp his ascent onto the European Tour, where has since won six times, finishing a joint career-best ninth in the Race to Dubai in each of the 2015 and 2016 campaigns. His latest victories came in 2019 at Made in Denmark presented by FREJA and the Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Open, beating Benjamin Hébert in a play-off, and Italian Open - his second Rolex Series title after his Scottish Open success. Known as one of the most consistent players on Tour, he is coached since 2011 by Belgium DLGA Professional Philippe de Busschere. Having been taught by his father, he underlined his potential by winning the Austrian Amateur Stroke Play Championship three years running from 2004, before turning professional in 2006.
